Group music and piano classes for ages 3–9. Whether your child is 3 years old joining a first music class or 8 years old building stronger reading and playing skills, our certified teachers create a joyful, age-appropriate path for lasting growth.
Music for Young Children has been teaching children the foundation of music education and piano playing in a group setting for 46 years. At Musica, we offer the official MYC levels that fit ages 3–9: Sunshine 1, Sunbeams 1, and Moonbeams 1.
The MYC approach blends singing, listening, movement, keyboard skills, and music literacy in classes that feel joyful and structured at the same time. It is a thoughtful first step for children who are just beginning and a strong bridge toward future private study.
Every child starts at the level that matches their age and experience — and progresses at their own pace.

MYC has been teaching children the foundation of music education and piano playing for 46 years. Today there are over 800 locations on 3 continents, making it one of the most established early-childhood music programs in the world.
Designed by an early-childhood specialist, the method uses age-appropriate activities to develop not only music reading and playing, but also cognitive, physical, and social skills.
MYC is the only early-childhood music education method that integrates Conservatory repertoire within its own method, helping students build toward future piano and theory milestones.
